Calvin Klein brings Justin Bieber to Hong Kong
Justin Bieber and Kendall Jenner brought some serious star power to the Calvin Klein Jeans music event in Hong Kong on June 11.
Justin Bieber made a flying visit to Hong Kong on Thursday, jetting in for an invite-only concert at Kai Tak Cruise Terminal.
The event was put on by Calvin Klein Jeans as part of its #mycalvins global campaign and Bieber was joined on the red carpet by supermodel, reality television star and fellow CK ambassador Kendall Jenner.
Korean-American singer Jay Park opened the event as guests filed into the cavernous venue that had Hong Kong harbour as a backdrop.
Bieber played an high energy set that momentarily came to a halt after the second song when he revealed to the crowd that he had torn his trousers.
“After teasing the audience with the suggestion he take off his pants to reveal his brand-appropriate underwear, the singer disappeared for almost 10 minutes, returning in a new outfit and what should have been a truncated set,” according to the SCMP.
“Instead, a shirtless Bieber played three songs in an encore that included the new remix single Where Are U Now, produced by Skrillex and Diplo, ending, to the crowd’s delight, with his most widely recognised hit  Baby.”
In January, Bieber was unveiled as the new face of Calvin Klein Underwear, and of Jeans alongside Dutch model Lara Stone.
