Maserati has teamed up with luxury furniture studio Zanotta to unveil a capsule interiors collection at the 2014 Salone del Mobile design fair in Milan.

The Maserati by Zanotta Capsule Collection is a continuation of the pair’s first collaboration last year, which saw the release of the Maserati Grandtour Lounge Chair.

This year’s collection features a foot rest for the Grandtour, a Corina chair and a Maestrale table. Each piece has been designed by Ludovica+Roberto Palomba and was inspired by the style of Maserati cars.

The foot rest features a chrome base, also available in a nickel-plated glossy black finish. The quilted removable cover is available in dark grey, light grey or mud-colored leather.

Based on the curved aesthetics of Maserati’s car seats, the Corina chair comprises a metal rod frame with a leather cover. The steel frame comes in a chrome or nickel-plated glossy black finish, while the removable cover is made from quilted leather coupled with heat-bound polyester fiber.

In contrast, the Maestrale desk has a clean and linear form. Featuring a flat walnut top resting on a steel rod frame with a plywood or pigmented cowhide drawer, the combination of materials was chosen to “refer to the idea of know-how, common ground for Zanotta and Maserat.”
