A 1949 ZIL ZIS-110 limousine that belonged to Joseph Stalin is being offered for sale in Finland via online luxury marketplace JamesList at an undisclosed price.

The car is based on the Packard Super Eight and powered by a 6 liter, 8 cylinder engine producing 140 hp with a top speed of over 87 mph.

Stalin was supposedly given a Packard by FDR during the war and was so impressed that he ordered ZIL to copy it.

Stalin’s ZIS-110, 1949 model, served as the communist Tsar’s parade car, and hence has very little mileage, around 1276km.

It was restored to its original specs in 2001 by Finnish restoration specialist Makela Auto Tuning. . The car is available for sale on JamesList.
