Italian brand VERSACE has confirmed that MADONNA is the face of its Spring/Summer 2015 campaign, shot in New York City by Mert & Marcus.
The campaign was shot by photographers Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott, who focused on her image as a pop-culture visionary, singer, businesswoman, and filmmaker in the black and white images.
“It’s always exciting to be dressed head to toe in Versace,” explained Madonna, who wore pieces from the latest Spring/Summer 2015 collection.
“Madonna is one of the true icons of Versace. I am thrilled to have my friend and the most powerful and directional artist as the face of Versace for Spring 2015,” added Donatella.
This is Madonna’s fourth campaign for VERSACE, and her third decade working with the brand (the star first posed for them back in 1995).
The 56-year-old American singer has also starred in ad campaigns for Louis Vuitton and Dolce & Gabbana over the past few years.

Kate Moss is fronting Stella McCartney’s Fall 2014 dream-themed campaign shot by Marcus Piggott and Mert Alas and styled by the designer herself.
The images will also be accompanied by a “Kate Dreams” mood film with music by emerging musical talent Fred Gibson.
This is Kate’s 7th campaign for the brand over the years, and her first since Summer 2009. “Kate epitomizes the Stella McCartney woman and I wanted to capture her dreams and the moments we have shared over the years,” explained McCartney, “I wanted to escape into something surreal this season.”
KATE MOSS appears in the collection against an unzipped landscape of stars and forests. Moss also poses in new eyewear images for the brand.
Dutch supermodel Lara Stone is the face of Stella in this very sensual campaign, shot by the fashion photography duo Mert and Marcus.
First launched in 2003, the first fragrance from Stella McCartney is getting a facelift. The iconic purple flacon now comes in a new polka dot box.
“Stella is a celebration of women, and Lara is the perfect representation,” said STELLA MCCARTNEY of the perfume’s new spokesmodel.
“She brings the ideas of the fragrance alive, in an honest way, she is a modern woman who is approachable and sensual at the same time.”
Stella Eau de Parfum is available in 30ml, 50ml and 100ml flacons.
A longtime Lancôme spokesmodel, seen namely in ads for the Trésor fragrance, PENELOPE CRUZ is the face of the first campaign for the brand’s new Grandiôse mascara, shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.
The first image from the campaign is a close-up of the 40-year-old star, who stares directly into the lens with her fiery, smoky gaze.
With this latest innovation, LANCÔME hopes to reinvent mascara through an unprecedented design. Grandiôse comes with a patented “Swan’s Neck” wand, which is twisted and shorter than the traditional mascara applicator.
According to the brand, the new design makes for simpler, faster and easier application on each eye.
The mascara wand also has two different sizes of high-tech bristles, which are shaped specifically for better adherence to both top and bottom lashes.
Made with a deep black formula for an intense look, Grandiôse mascara will be available starting in late August, priced at €31.50.
After posing in the Italian brand’s apparel and accessories, Lady Gaga is looking glamorous in Versace shades. The design house has revealed the first images of its latest eyewear campaign featuring its star spokesmodel.
The decor is the same as in Versace’s latest handbag and ready-to-wear campaigns. Posing on a couch, Lady Gaga looks both glamorous and sexy.
Shot by the fashion photography duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, the singer wears an especially racy black dress with a plunging neckline, a bare midriff and a skirt with a high split.
Of course, Lady Gaga is also wearing a pair of sunglasses from the Italian brand’s Spring-Summer 2014 collection.
Featuring a matte black frame accented with gold, the new shades are as eccentric as the curvaceous blonde seen wearing them.
Italian fashion brand Gucci recruited Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott to present its Spring-Summer 2014 collections.
The famous fashion photography duo worked with a minimalist decor for this latest Gucci campaign. Each piece featured in the campaign pops against a background of vibrant red.
Gucci chose Amanda Wellsh, Elisabeth Erm, Tommaso De Benedictis, and Luca Statscheit as the faces of this collection designed by Frida Giannini.
Colorful and eye-catching, the collection features a number of geometric and floral prints, as well as provocative transparent fishnet fabrics.

Nolan Funk wears some of the star pieces from Versace’s Spring-Summer 2014 menswear collection including an elegant suit and a more rebellious ensemble in black leather. Prints and geometric patterns, including Versace’s signature Greek Key pattern, are featured prominently in the new line.
Outside of the fashion world, Nolan Funk is known mainly for his role on the hit musical series “Glee.”

Grammy Award-winning singer Lady Gaga has been unveiled as the face of the spring 2014 Versace campaign, photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot.
The 27-year-old appears in the images draped across a couch, with long “Versace platinum blonde” hair (while the brand can’t claim ownership over the hair color, Gaga’s ‘do’ is certainly rather reminiscent of Donatella Versace‘s super-straight super-blonde tresses).
In the main campaign shot the singer wears a lilac-colored bandage dress with the brand’s famous Medusa head emblem appearing on chunky silver accessories: “the campaign shows how Lady Gaga completely captures the Versace essence: creative, experimental, fearless,” trumpeted the Italian label.
“I am honoured that my friend Lady Gaga is the face of our new Versace campaign,” Donatella said. “I wanted to capture her true beauty and spirit in images that are elegant and alluring. She is like family to me, the embodiment of the Versace DNA.”
Gaga is a big fan of the brand and was spotted this week in a Versace total look (pictured below), including a vintage metal mesh cocktail dress, a pair of lilac platform sandals from the Spring 2014 runway collection and a matching purple python ‘Signature’ handbag.

Finnish model Suvi Koponen and Japanese star Chiharu Okunugi were photographed in the colorful and oversized silhouettes, which, as usual, come with a ‘conscious’ edge.
The girls wear the biodegradable lug sole shoes and carry eco faux-leather accessories which are coated with a natural vegetable oil, designed to be kinder to the environment.
Abstract imagery featuring graphic details from British road signs sit alongside the humorous juxtaposition of summer colors and settings with the two models wrapped up in the winter clothes.
The campaign is set to appear in the September issues of major fashion magazines around the world.
The French fashion house features former Paris Vogue editor Carine Roitfeld alongside her daughter Julia in the latest campaign for Fall-Winter 2013.

Givenchy creative director Riccardo Tisci cast a mother-daughter combination in the S/S adverts (Italian model Mariacarla Boscono and her baby daughter) and repeated the trick again for fall with Julia Restoin Roitfeld joining her mother on set.
“These people are my family. They have always believed in me. They are very faithful to me,” Tisci explained in a statement. “Faithfulness and love are the most amazing things in what I want to do” added the 38-year-old Italian.
The new face of the brand’s Very Irresistible perfume and the star of “Les Misérables” Amanda Seyfried also stars in her first ready-to-wear shoot for the brand.
Thirty-two-year-old Spanish actor Quim Gutiérrez was shot alongside Argentinean male model Mariano Ontañon while fellow Spaniard Dalianah Arekion also features in the images. The 16-y-o model opened Givenchy’s Fall-Winter show back in March.
Penelope Cruz appears in the Spring-Summer 2013 advertising campaign for Spanish brand Loewe, shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.
The first of two images released so far by the brand shows Cruz leaning against a mirror with a luxurious coralcolored Paseo bag (€1,400), with the star shot in Madrid’s sumptuous Palacio Marqués de Villafranca.
The 38-yo actress also appears in a second image, posing alongside a classical statue and holding one of the label’s classic Amazon handbags in black, with one of the palace’s equestrian murals behind her in the new Mert & Marcus images.
“Loewe is an international brand proud of its Spanish roots and with a rich history. Its collections are made by Spanish master artisans and I have always admired their work. I feel fortunate to be a part of this project,” the actress said.
The actress, who is married to “Skyfall” villain Javier Bardem, is also designing a new lingerie line for Agent Provocateur called L’Agent alongside her sister Monica.
