According to Auto Express in the U.K, The most-luxurious car maker in the world is considering an electric variant of its flagship saloon, the Phantom.
While details are non-existent, the Phantom EV could actually be a hybrid-electric vehicle like the Mercedes Vision S 500 plug-in hybrid.
This would likely make more sense, because a pure electric Phantom would likely suffer from an extremely limited range, worldcarfans says.

Last month we wrote about the famed “Star of India” 1934 Rolls-Royce Phantom II convertible custom made for an Indian Maharaja.
Now the incredible car has been listed for sale via online global luxury marketplace JamesList for £8 million, or about $13 million.
The 7.7-liter V8-engined car is currently owned by German collector Hans-Gunther Zach, and is part of a vast collection of Rolls’ and Bentleys.

Rolls Royce has released over the week-end detailed information on the Rolls Royce Ghost, including a new image gallery.
The 2011 Rolls Royce Ghost is the second Rolls Royce model since being bought by BMW in 2003, the other being the Phantom line.
Ghost is the most powerful car that Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has ever produced.

The Rolls-Royce Motor Cars design team has announced a new Rolls-Royce Phantom Bespoke collection exclusively for the Arabian market.
The exclusive sedan features a Crème Light and Saddle Tan two-tone interior, hand-knotted silk rugs, and moccasin carpets.
Other design touches include “Mother of Pearl” wood inlays and silver dhow (an Arab sailboat) accents on the door trim and front passenger side dashboard.

This Rolls Royce, popularly known as the “Star of India” is a one-off 1934 Phantom II 40/50 HP Continental “All-Weather Convertible” that was custom made for the Maharaja of Rajkot.
The car was in the collection of Hans-Günther Zach, who had his own museum in Mühlheim, Germany and is now selling off the entire collection.
The “Star of India” alone is expected to fetch a sum of €10 Million ($14.1 million); if it does that would make it the most expensive car in the world.

Rolls Royce is the ultimate in luxury and now their new concept car makes driving even more luxurious for women.
The Rolls Royce 200EX Concept has a feature that “auto-senses to hold your purse.”
A purse pop out section of the back seat complete with wings to support the width of the purse, and as soon as it senses your purse, it automatically has a piece that slides up to give it a little squeeze and hold it in place.
