Peng, a Taiwanese Canadian actor, was born and grew up in Taiwan before migrating to Canada at the age of 13. He has been recognized by various film awards such as the Taipei Golden Horse Awards and the Hong Kong Film Awards for performances in box office hits such as Unbeatable (2013) and Jump Ashin! (2011). Peng has just concluded filming for Rise of the Legend produced by Bill Kong, where he plays Wong Fei Hung, a famed kung-fu master in a classic martial arts revival film.  Apart from film, Peng is a regular on television dramas, and has both released solo albums and collaborated with other artists in music. Peng joins a roster of brand ambassadors including Andre Agassi and Kate Winslet, some of whom the brand has partnered with for over a decade.

Peng’s watch of choice at present appears to be the Conquest Classic, according to his webpage on the Longines website, which fits in well with his penchant for both action and drama on the silver screen. An understated chronograph, the Conquest Classic comes in a modest 41mm case of steel and rose gold, with a classic tri-compax layout that doesn’t call any attention to itself. Beneath the exterior, however, lies the L688 movement developed and produced by ETA specially for Longines. The L688 measures elapsed time of up to 12 hours, and has a rather impressive 54-hour power reserve hidden within it. In keeping with its sporty engine and quietly elegant exterior, the watch comes with either a steel and rose gold strap, or a black alligator strap, both equipped with deployant clasps.
