Aman Resort are known for curating luxurious experience at a laid-back, leisurely pace. On the contrary, world tours are often associated with a laundry list of activities crammed into an unpleasantly short timeline, with exhausting flights and road trips slotted in.

Aman is changing this, with an exclusive world tour with stopovers at destinations across Asia and Europe over 22 days.

This exclusive tour will only be taking 16 guests for the experience. Accommodations will be at the various Aman properties dotted around the globe, located from urban to remote areas, allowing guests to experience the full breadth of Aman’s hospitality wherever the locale.

The itinerary includes Aman resorts in Japan, China, Vietnam, Thailand, Bhutan, India, Greece, Montenegro and Italy. Guests will be transported between these stunning locations in a private Airbus ACJ 318 which boasts 4 lounges, 2 restrooms and shower. With none of the flights lasting more than seven hours, travels are planned to feel plush and timely for a good freshen up before the next stopover. Striking a perfect rhythm of exploration and relaxation, the tour aims to fulfil a jam-packed itinerary that feels richly slow.

The resort has planned a wide array of activities and experiences that include everything from sushi making and sword fighting lessons in Tokyo, to off road cycling in Vietnam’s Vinh Hy Bay. As with other pre-planned tours, there will be plenty of visits to local attractions and opportunities to shop. Activities are specially tailored to each location, so you can enjoy a visit to an Elephant sanctuary in Thailand or visit the Cheri monastery in Bhutan. Expect to tick off your bucket list, but also anticipate for some exciting local experiences such as a fire meditation ritual in Jaipur and astrology lessons led by monks in Bhutan.

Throughout the trip, there will be various opportunities to bond with your fellow travelers, across the breakfast table, mingling at cocktail evenings, and of course, the luxurious spas that Aman resorts promise.

The trip kicks off in Tokyo, continuing through Southeast Asia, before whisking off to Europe. The final stop of the grand tour lands in Venice, where Aman’s 16th-century palazzo on the Grand Canal — complete with original Tiepolo frescoes and gilded ceilings — will ensure a homely base for exploring the perennially romantic city. And of course, glimpse into how the real grand tourers traveled in style centuries ago.
