
Givenchy has unveiled the recording of actress Liv Tyler singing her own rendition of INXS’s “Need You Tonight” ahead of the launch of new fragrance Very Irrésistible Givenchy Electric Rose.
The track reveals Tyler’s modern take on the 1987 hit by Australian rock band INXS. The accompanying music video will be unleashed prior to the release of Electric Rose — due to reach stores this April.
As well as representing beauty brands including Pantene haircare, Tyler — whose father is Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler — has modeled for Givenchy since 2003.


U2 rocker bono is about to make $1 billion, thanks to his 2009 investment in Facebook.
Bono’s investment company Elevation Partners bought $210 million worth of shares in the social networking site almost two years ago.
This week, the site has been valued at $65 billion, meaning that Bono and his company’s share of the business is now valued at a whopping $975 million.

A Chrysler 300C once owned by Barack Obama has been listed for sale on eBay. The starting bid is $1 million — 66 times the vehicle’s blue book value.
The 2005 Chrysler 300C was leased and driven by President Obama while he was an Illinois state senator from 2004 through the summer of 2007.
The digital auction, which is being managed by seasoned eBay car seller Lisa Czibor, claims to have documentation proving that Obama once leased the car.

Jennifer Lopez has inaugurated in Casablanca the Morocco Mall, billed as Africa’s largest shopping centre and among the world’s top five.
After Princess Lalla Meryem officially opened the mall on Thursday, the US star became its first customer and capped the glitzy launch with a private concert.
The sprawling megamall, which sits on 10 hectares of land facing the Atlantic Ocean, aims to attract 14 million visitors a year and become one top tourist destinations.

Hollywood actress Anne Hathaway has been announced as co-host for the launch of the Valentino Online Museum today.
Confirmed panelists for the press conference, due to be streamed live on Youtube, include Amit Sood and Italian Vogue editor in chief Franca Sozzani.
The Valentino Garavani Virtual Museum will feature more than 300 dresses worn by Hollywood stars such as Julia Roberts and Sophia Loren.
