The Air Jordan 3 Retro SE ‘Muslin’ Set to Release This Month
The upcoming release will replace the usual elephant print with a Cement Grey suede material.
First unveiled in December last year, the Air Jordan 3 Retro SE ‘Muslin’ is part of the Spring 2022 release from the brand which is scheduled to drop on 25 March.
Ditching the usual elephant print that has since become synonymous with the Air Jordan 3 models, the upcoming release of the Air Jordan 3 Retro SE ‘Muslin’ features Cement Grey suede on the toe and heel mudguards. The refreshed look harkens back to the original 1988 design by Tinker Hatfield. But a more recent resemblance can be traced back to the Air Jordan 3 ‘Mocha’, which has since gathered renewed interests from the sneakers community over the years.
On the uppers, muslin-coloured canvas takes the spotlight and it is seen on most parts of the sneakers. The iconic Jumpman logo in red is found on the tongue of the sneakers as well as the heel. The fiery hue also informs the insoles of the shoes while the sockliners are in grey to match the toe and heel mudguards.
Additional details accompanying the shoes are the perforated panels and red bottom eyelets. Rounding up this release are the off-white Air-assisted midsoles paired with grey rubber outsoles. The Air Jordan 3 Retro SE ‘Muslin’ is set to release with a special packaging.
