Christopher Kane is launching a new bi-monthly program of limited edition style items. The Scottish fashion designer is celebrating the launch of his new online store with the new initiative, which will see one new product released on the first Friday of every other month.
The debut accessory, which launches Friday, is an acrylic cube paperweight encasing a suspended dried rose. Inspired by the brand’s Autumn / Winter 2016 fashion collection, the paperweight measures 8 x 8 cm and is custom engraved with the title ‘Lost and Found’. Only 50 examples will be created, with each one numbered.
The new products will feature pieces from the house’s archives or new designs, and will be available exclusively online.
The brand has been going from strength to strength of late, with the e-commerce site making its debut on June 22. The group also unveiled its first bricks-and-mortar global flagship store in February 2015 in London.
Kane is known for his contemporary and urban approach to menswear and womenswear, blending modern aesthetics with nostalgic style references and a penchant for fashionable knitwear.
The Limited Editions paperweight retails for €120, or $125, from christopherkane.com
