What was the concept and genesis of the Tonino Lamborghini Residences Dubai?

Since the foundation of my company, one of my goals has been to leave a mark on fast-emerging countries. I started in China and in particular in Hong Kong.  After the success of my first hotels in China, it was inevitable to develop in Dubai a new and innovative project.

Dubai represents today the pure expression of extreme novelty and foresight, moreover over the years Dubai luxury real estate has rapidly transformed the city and now there is a strong request for luxurious and bespoke homes that can offer an unmatched lifestyle.

The Tonino Lamborghini Residences Dubai project has been designed together with our partner Oriental Pearls, a leading Chinese real estate developer operating in the UAE, I had the luck to meet and to work with since 2018. We are confident this partnership will deliver a truly remarkable community that is synonymous with Dubai’s vision for innovation and smart living.

How does the Tonino Lamborghini Residences Dubai make a difference in luxury living in the region?

The project was conceived as something truly innovative: it is the first Tonino Lamborghini community in the world. A completely branded small city in the Meydan district of Dubai that will be ready by 2024. An area of over 43 hectares dedicated to lovers of Italian art, design and lifestyle. Approximately 8.000 apartments will be realized with the Tonino Lamborghini interior concept design, premium-level finishes, state-of-the-art home automation; moreover, clients will have different services like commercial spaces, places of worship in respect of the different territorial religions, parks and gardens. Thanks to the synergy with all my brand’s partners, the project will offer Italian furniture, ceramics, home and office accessories from taps to glass art, and other Tonino Lamborghini brand luxury products like beverages or fashion accessories.

Are the eight thousand residences in Dubai already sold out? Will your company directly deal with the sales?

All the sales targets expectations have been achieved so far, with an excellent reaction from the market which positively welcomed the proposals, both in terms of investment and as solutions for fully furnished apartments.

Our partner company works with official sales agency by relying on the best certified agents in different markets, making it a real cosmopolitan project. Sales are not only directed exclusively to the Dubai market, but also to other countries in the East Europe, Middle East, China, and Far East.

What are your present and developing projects for the future in hospitality and real estate?

My entrepreneurial activity in the hospitality sector began in 2012 and since then has been involving several projects: from branded big 5-star hotels to boutique resorts, from residential buildings to cafeterias and restaurants. The hospitality project today includes 3 hotels in China (Suzhou, Kunshan and Huangshi) and one cafeteria in Kuwait. I have recently announced the launch of a new hotel project in Seipan, in the Mariana Islands, where a luxury resort will be completed in 2021. Two other projects are in the pipeline in China and will be inaugurated within the end of 2020.

Today we are negotiating new real estate projects in Bahrain, Brazil, Egypt, and Syria. In addition, considering I am honorary consul of Montenegro for the Italian Emilia-Romagna region, we are looking forward to finding a good partner for a luxury branded real estate project on the Montenegrin coast.

What kind of experiences and features can the residents of Tonino Lamborghini Residences Dubai expect?

The project is also aimed to investors seeking for an investment capable of guaranteeing a return higher than the one usually offered by the market.

Some consider you to be synonymous with the “Made in Italy” lifestyle, do you feel yourself an ambassador of the Italian luxury?

For over 35 years, my brand has been interpreting a universe of Italian style with a very clear mission: to export the passion and spirit of Italian culture in the form of products with a unique and distinctive design inspired by the mechanical heritage of Lamborghini family.

Drawing inspiration from my family heritage and professional experience in the field of mechanical engineering and automotive design, I created a “lifestyle experience brand” with a wide range of luxury products: watches, glasses, cell phones, perfumes, accessories furniture, clothing, sports accessories, golf & utility carts, beverage products, 5-star hotels, real estate projects, cafeterias and branded restaurants.

Italian character combined with the legendary legacy of the timeless Miura bull symbol are the values that characterize my brand. I have felt myself like a Marco Polo in different occasion and today people see me as ambassador of the unique Italianness.

Are the residences sold furnished with specific Tonino Lamborghini interior design? On demand or standard?

Tonino Lamborghini products will be used in a wide way and in most of the apartments, according to the specific requests of customers who will have a very wide range of branded and tailor-made proposals.

Are the residences designed by Italian architects based on your specific requests?

Together with our real estate developers partners we select international architects in order to provide a project customized to the local taste. The aim is to fully interpret our identity but with great respect to the local market requests.

Our Italian partners of the home accessories lines work with Italian interior designers and architects to plan the home interiors according to the brand’s standards and guidelines.
