Monad Terrace is a newly launched luxury condominium on Miami Beach that is built on porous limestone and is elevated 11.5 ft above the city’s updated flood and sea level. The project is helmed by French architect, Jean Nouvel and the building embraces innovative designs such as climbing gardens, custom honeycomb screens for privacy and glass façade with a sawtooth profile. The residence rises on a strategic location, all ensuring that none of the apartment unit lacks the views of the bay and sky.

The newest project Monad Terrace is on Miami Beach, which exudes with striking, colourful art deco architecture alongside a touch of Latin influence, pristine beaches and opulent mansions. Comprising 59 individually-designed waterfront residences including four penthouses, the luxurious apartment consists of two to five bedrooms, ranging from sizes of 2,027 to 13,922 sq ft.

Light and water, glass and steel, gardens and façades all combine into what Nouvel has dubbed “the reflection machine”

The building features expansive amenities, including an in-house concierge, a sun deck with a 116-foot swimming pool and hot tub overlooking Biscayne Bay, valet parking, a café and juice bar, a wellness centre, and a bicycle and water sports storage room.

Select penthouses offer soaring double-height ceilings to 18 feet. This penthouse (pictured above) features floor-to-ceiling windows, framing panoramic views of Biscayne Bay and the Atlantic Ocean.

Private rooftops feature pools with en-suite and elevator access

The most successful lodging place tend to be those that embrace the views and ambience of the city, or those that offer respite from the hustle and bustle of big cities. To capture the wider Miami’s waterways and white sand beaches, Jean Nouvel’s design innovations at Monad Terrace establishes the new standard of excellence with intelligent design and climate resilience features.

There’s something slightly exotic about the sleeping space, it is a sense of luxury which is enhanced by floor-to-ceiling windows to provide unobstructed views, privacy, and natural light

Master suites features alcove lighting and a free standing bath tub with bay-view and dual closets

Designed by Jean Nouvel, the kitchen consists of fully integrated state-of-the-art appliances to complement the wood ceiling and reflective cabinetry. The cantilevered marble island is the sculptural centrepiece of the space and is suitable to accommodate a large group for casual or formal entertaining.

Construction for Monad Terrace is underway and the project is expected to go vertical by March of 2018, with estimated completion in third quarter of 2019.
