South Beach Residences is one of Singapore’s swankiest and most luxurious property developments situated in the historical precinct of Beach Road. The project is part of a mega mixed-use development that also includes 510,000 sq ft of Grade-A office space, and a diverse array of lifestyle and F&B concepts offering chic cafes, watering holes and high-end restaurants. Offering 190 units perched above JW Marriott Singapore South Beach, the Residences become one of the rare properties in Singapore to offer this intriguing proposition.

South Beach Residences is all set to woo future homeowners with a fitness corner, infinity swimming pool, recreational spaces, and a dedicated concierge service just to name a few.

For couples or families with children, fret not about their educational pursuits as the project is close to schools like School of The Arts, Singapore. For weekends, there won’t be moments of boredom as the property is also close to Suntec City and Raffles City, thereby offering a huge array of lifestyle and retail options. For those into arts and culture, the project is a stone’s away from Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay, National Gallery Singapore and the famous Raffles Hotel is just across the road.

City Living At Its Finest
If you are against driving the car to reduce carbon footprint, you can access MRT stations Esplanade, City Hall, Promenade, Bras Basah, and Bugis which provide you a speedy, easy and air-conditioned commute to get to other parts of Singapore. For banking and postal needs, there are banks such as DBS, UOB at Raffles City while post offices at Suntec City and Bras Basah are a stone’s throw away. Families with young children can head to nearby parks such as Memorial Park, Esplanade Park, and Gardens by the Bay. For shopping needs, a mere 7-minutes’ drive to Orchard Road by car can be experienced conveniently.

But the real draw of the project is its hotel-like interior where quality finishes and high-quality integrated household appliances are decked up in each residential unit. Homeowners are assured of creature comforts when the mercury rises or when you come home after a hard day’s work. The prestigious project is above the JW Marriott Singapore South Beach, so future homeowners of these residences – apartments and penthouse – can access services of the five-star hospitality establishment with their “Resident Card”.

Owning this property will afford homeowners captivating views of the Marina Bay area, the sea and the tail-end of Orchard Road stretch. The penthouse will enjoy enviable 360-degree views of Singapore’s bayfront. You can count on the building’s architects – Foster + Partners – to have created this striking residential monument which comes with a state-of-the-art microclimatic canopy together with its distinguished architectural aesthetics.

South Beach Residences offers homeowners a raft of integrated household appliances from well-known international brands such as Miele, Duravit and Bulthaup. In each unit, every inch has been meticulously planned and designed to create inviting spaces for cooking, relaxing, sleeping, playing, working and more.

Designer’s Touch
One of the penthouse units was designed by Peter Tay – the feted interior designer who has done up homes for celebrities in Singapore. When tasked with the theme to create an indulgent but relaxing space, he quipped, “I wanted a “quiet elegance” style which meant the interiors would afford darker tones, and peppered with notable furniture and art pieces to add accent and character. While I desired a contemporary space, the design centres on a powerful visual impact where art takes focus. However, he adds, “The art being not just the artwork inside the space, but the artwork that portrays the exterior view in.”

Interior designer Peter Tay

Tay had in mind a neutral base, but it would oscillate between wood, grey, moss green, brown and black. He included the shade of moss green being the landscape of the vertical green area to complement the extension of the interior space to the outdoors where greenery pervades the city view. He deployed an accent armchair – the Archibald manufactured by Poltrona Frau – to anchor the living area. Tay also played with the high-gloss black ceiling, which gives an unexpected effect and to reflect the exterior view of the interior space. The end result is a luxurious and serene atmosphere for its future homeowners to experience it especially when they are back from a tiring day at work.

Views To Gawp At
All units afford full-height windows and balconies with panoramic views. Residential units will begin from level 22 to 45, offering spectacular bird’s eye views of the Singapore Skyline, CBD area and Marina Bay. The view itself will be one of the project’s main draw. Whenever National Day arrives, or any of the public holidays where celebrations in the Marina Bay area are to take place, not forgetting the much-lauded Singapore Night Race, these future homeowners will be blessed with gorgeous views of the celebrations and spectacular fireworks, all from the comfort of their abodes.

Homeowners who have cars are able to park their vehicles at ample season lots. South Beach Residences’ nearby amenities and retail outlets make living and working very convenient and enticing. Homeowners can enjoy the convenience of retail, relaxation, and shopping at Raffles City, Suntec City and Marina Square which are within walking distance. For investors and would-be homeowners, South Beach Residences is a much-desired project to own in the lively and busy district of Suntec City and Beach Road
