The Inaugural Edition of the Phuket Rendezvous 2018 Ends on a High Note
The Phuket Rendezvous 2018 came to a successful close after four consecutive days of fun, glamour and celebration as well as witnessing an exciting yachts lineup with transactions taking place on-site.

The inaugural edition of the PHUKET RENDEZVOUS 2018 held on January 4-7 was admittedly proven to be a major success after it ended on a high celebratory note. Attended by over 6,000 visitors, hailing from all over Southeast Asian region, including Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia as well as Europe, this year also saw a high level participation from Russian attendees to the Phuket Rendezvous.
Strongly backed by over 100 local and international exhibitors, sponsors and partners, the PHUKET RENDEZVOUS showcased 45 on-water boats and 5 superyachts moored off Koh Rang Noi and accessible via private shuttles. Exclusive luxury villas and luxury cars were also on display.

The show organiser is pleased to announce that eight yachts were sold during the four-day event, including an Azimut 64 Flybrige, an Aquila 37, a Lagoon 450, a Silvercraft 31 and a Princess P62 premiered during the show, as well as the luxury properties on site.
According to the Event CEO, Gael Burlot, transactions at the show exceeded USD 23 million with more transactions expected in the post-event period.

In addition to the positive exhibitors feedback, it has been encouraging to see a large number of international visitors, making up approximately 62% of the total visitors count. This is actually one of the major reasons why the PHUKET RENDEZVOUS has been chosen to be staged during the island’s peak season when villa owners, HNWIs, business jets owners were holidaying in Phuket.
The Phuket Rendezvous’ Savoir Faire
The ambiance throughout the four days were at its most dynamic and liveliest, with lavish parties on yachts inviting esteemed guests to luxuriate and party in style and elegance, clearly making the PHUKET RENDEZVOUS the largest Yacht Show in Thailand and a culmination of luxury lifestyle.
Finally, in celebration of YACHT STYLE’s 10th anniversary, the inaugural CHRISTOFLE YACHT STYLE Awards 2018 staged at the neighboring Phuket Boat Lagoon marina on the first night of the show added to the event’s vibrancy.
The Awards ceremony covered 25 categories to recognise the very best of the latest yachts launched, yacht charters, yacht brokers and marinas; certainly an exciting step forward for the growing boating industry in the Asia-Pacific region.
The next edition of PHUKET RENDEZVOUS will be held on January 4-7, 2019.
