Botlek Pays Homage to Keith Haring

Surreal humour in character-driven street art

Feb 06, 2014 | By Staff Writer

Based in Rotterdam, Netherlands, Daan Botlek’s fascination with psychology and human interaction has led to his depiction of surreal humour through his form of character-driven street art. Evidently, Botlek’s work pays homage to the style of Keith Haring, where his simplistic, site-specific figures often interact with the space around them, passing in and out of unseen dimensions.
