Barbie continues to take the fashion world by storm and thanks to shoe designer Christian Louboutin, she’s just received a third, red-carpet worthy makeover.
Dressed in a satin gown with lilac Anemone Louboutin’s, the Anemone Barbie is ready to attend the Cannes film festival in style.
Barbie revealed her first outfit in the Christian Louboutin collection last November, the Cat Burglar.
Her second look, Forever Dolly, was revealed in February, a safari chic ensemble with fuschia over-the-knee fringed boots.

Although it is just the beginning of the charter season, the Cannes Film Festival brought together many superyachts and big cruise ship.
Formerly named Constellation, this yacht was renovated in 2008; Lauren L is 90 metres (296ft) amd was originally built in Germany by Cassens Werft in 2004.
Owner Andreas Liveras invested millions into the new design and fitted the luxury liner with a spa, beauty salon, and even a helipad.


Swiss watchmaker Jaeger-LeCoultre inaugurated its third boutique in France with the opening of its Cannes location last week. This is also the 28th Jaeger-LeCoultre location worldwide.
The collections are presented within an interior design with a display concept reflecting the Art Deco spirit and playing on symmetry, geometry and pure lines.
Subtly graded shades of ochre are associated with authentic materials such as leather, American walnut wood, steel and slate.

Austrian director Michael Haneke won the Palme d’Or (Golden Palm) for best picture at the Cannes film festival on Sunday for “The White Ribbon,” his eerie exploration of the roots of Nazi terror.
Since 1954, the award has been annually given to the Director of the best film presented at the festival.
The Palme d’or 2009 has been created by Chopard and it reminds of the coat of arms of the city of Cannes.

In honor of Cannes, Louis Vuitton has produced a limited edition fan designed in collaboration with Spanish actress Rossy de Palma.
A portion of the fans’ proceeds will benefit a non-governmental organization, OrphanAid Africa, whose ambassador is Rossy De Palma herself.
These designer fans were on one-day sale (Monday, May 18) at Louis Vuitton’s store in Cannes but you can also find these fans in selected stores in Spain until June 30.
