Roberto Cavalli has divulged beauty projects, with his wife and label’s creative director Eva Cavalli revealing makeup plans are to be explored in the coming year.
In an interview with WWD published January 27, Eva described launching a color cosmetics collection as “a dream,” while Roberto suggested hair dye could even be a potential area for expansion in the future.
“I love it. Color is key for me,” said the creator. “I’d like to make many, many things with color and cosmetics — even color for the hair.”

Louis Vuitton has confirmed its entrance into the realm of fragrance, with master perfumer Jacques Cavallier-Belletrud heading up the scent development.
The news is significant considering the French fashion house has not marketed any perfumes since the 1920s and ’30s.
It signals another expansion following the brand’s ventures into watches in 2002, fine jewelry in 2004 and eyewear in 2005.
