Despite going well beyond European shores, the Mediterranean inspiration for wanderlust and style was still apparent throughout the season. As New York Fashion Week comes to a close and London Fashion Week kicks off, LUXUO explores the significance of the Cruise ’25 collections and how they remain influenced by Mediterranean culture despite presentations and runways around the world.

@givenchy has just appointed Sarah Burton as the maison’s latest creative director for both womenswear and menswear collections.

The move sees the designer at the helm of yet another renowned fashion house after the end of her 26-year tenure at @alexandermcqueen last year. Interestingly her late predecessor was appointed head designer at Givenchy in 1996.

Her debut collection for @givenchy is set to be presented in March 2025.

Last Night @the_macallan invited LUXUO to “The Heart of The Spirit” experience to celebrate 200 years of exceptional whisky craftsmanship.

The experience took us on a sensory journey through the past, present and future of the world-renowned distillery. Korean stars @jinuk0916 and @boxabum made an appearance, showcasing their support for the momentous occasion.

Alongside a variety of bespoke cocktails crafted specially for this milestone, the night’s exclusive tastings included The Macallan Sherry Oak 18 Years Old.

“The Heart of The Spirit” experience takes place from 7 to 22 September at Clarke Quay Warehouse B.
