Since 1832, the winged hourglass logo has symbolised Longines’ status as the official timekeeper for major global sports events and its partnerships with various international sports federations. The Swiss brand has built strong, lasting ties with the sporting world, earning a reputation as a pioneer in chronographs and sports timing.

Although it may seem that their watches are destined for men, Longines has long recognised the importance of women’s timepieces. As early as 1892, the brand began manufacturing watches specifically for women. The shift towards women’s wristwatches was driven by social change and practical needs. As more women entered the workforce, the demand grew for timepieces that were both functional and stylish for daily wear. In response, Longines created elegant, lightweight watches that quickly gained popularity among women, establishing the brand as a leader in ladies’ watch design.

Over the decades, Longines has continued innovating, expanding its women’s collections with lines such as DolceVita, Evidenza, La Grande Classique, and HydroConquest. This season, the focus is on the Mini DolceVita, featuring colourful double straps in shades of beige, gold, pink, red, orange, and green, crafted in soft Nappa leather that gently hugs the wrist. Its iconic rectangular case, available with or without sparkling diamonds, captures the spirit of spring, which is about new beginnings.

This modern yet timeless jewellery watch continues the historic DolceVita legacy, inspired by a legendary 1927 piece that, as its name suggests, links the saddle to the stirrups—a nod to Longines’ rich equestrian heritage. First introduced in 2023, the Mini DolceVita has recently been updated with vibrant leather straps designed exclusively by Longines.

The watch features a stainless-steel rectangular case measuring 21.50 mm x 29.00 mm, water-resistant to 3 bar (30 metres), powered by the L178 quartz movement. Three models feature a silvered rectangular Roman dial with exquisite flinqué decoration—delicate embossed geometric motifs creating a guilloché effect—paired with painted Roman numerals and blued steel hands. A small seconds subdial sits at 6 o’clock. These are complemented by double straps in black, beige gold with ivory topstitching, or pink; the latter two are adorned with 38 Top Wesselton diamonds.

The remaining three showcase circular, silvered sand-blasted Cosmo dials, with a matte white hours indicator separating the outer square from the inner circle. A round, matte white small seconds subdial at 6 o’clock features painted Roman numerals and elongated indexes in blued steel, creating an elegant contrast against the light dial.
