Pharrell Williams has partnered with French leather goods maker Moynat to create a capsule collection of bags shaped like vintage locomotive trains.

The famed Parisian luxury leatherworking label was apparently introduced to Williams by Colette’s Sarah Andelman, and the popstar and Moynat creative director Ramesh Nair immediately hit it off.

Inspired by vintage trains, the pair set to work on a series of steam locomotive pieces including a trunk bag, leather pouches and silk scarves.

Set for release at Colette on October 13, and then on sale a week later at Moynat stores in London and Paris one week later, a limited edition resin bag will retail at €10,000. An ebony version is set to retail for €3,000.

The range will be revealed at Colette on October 13, arriving in  boutiques in Paris and London a week later.
