Perfumes can be the most personal and even, intimate gifts. This Valentine’s Day, whether you are celebrating with your lover or championing your singlehood, the Gucci Guilty fragrances are the perfect ingredients to intoxicate and spice it up.

Enters the Gucci Guilty Parfum Pour Homme and the Gucci Guilty Eau de Parfum Intense Pour Femme. The coveted fragrances were launched last month and just in time for those who are looking to express their affections as electric aromas. Both scents are an elevated take on the crowd-pleaser EDPs — reinterpreted and decorated with metallic hues. Their woody core notes are made to represent a love affair that is unfettered by society’s definitions.

Back in the 2018 Met Gala, when Creative Director Alessandro Michele styled the glamorous Lana Del Rey and Jared Leto, the Internet went ablaze with excitement. Fast forward to 2019, when the Italian fashion house released its #ForeverGuilty campaign, the netizens were starstruck to find out the duo was casted as ambassadors.

In contrast with the Gucci Guilty’s signature core, the Eau de Parfum Intense Pour Femme is an Ambery Floral Woody fragrance. It showcases notes of mandora, lychee and violet, which opens up to a floral bouquet of ylang-ylang and tuberose. Then, an empowering fusion of patchouli, vetiver and vanilla envelopes the senses for a feminine, long-lasting boldness.

The Gucci Guilty Parfum Pour Homme is a fresh and intense vision of its predecessor. Opening with milder notes of French Lavandin Abrialis, the perfume also includes Lemon Sfumatrice, juniper, Spanish Cictus, orange flower and hints of nutmeg. Finally, a mysterious concoction of Indonesian patchouli, dry woods and musks grounds the scent.

According to American actor Leto, who also starred in the “House of Gucci” movie, one should wear the Gucci Guilty fragrance when they feel like indulging and taking risks. In the #ForeverGucci campaign video, shot and directed by British photographer Glen Luchford, Gucci dares lovers to “choose the unconventional” and entice us to join the protagonists in celebrating liberty.

The next progressive step from couple clothing or jewellery is couple scents. Said fragrances blend flawlessly together and bestow upon alluring, head-turning scents for him and her. And to all the independent singles out there, there is no better time to find your Lana Del Rey or Jared Leto, with Gucci Guilty.

They say there is no secret ingredient or potion when it comes to falling in love, but with the Gucci Guilty on hand, we beg to differ.
