Ready-to-wear brand Kenzo announced on Tuesday, December 11, that Asian superstar Shu Qi will be the face of its flagship Flower by Kenzo fragrance in 2013.

The Taiwanese actress climbed the ranks of the industry all the way to the Jury of the Cannes festival in 2009, rising to international fame along the way, thanks to roles in international productions such as So CloseThe Transporter, and Three Times.

After appearing in Flower by Kenzo advertising from 2007-2009, she is once again on board for a 2013 international campaign.

“Shu Qi is a woman blessed with subdued sensuality, whose beauty is so fascinating it has the power to hypnotize. Is she a dream woman? Yes, she is, but it goes beyond that. Because she’s a real woman, and a very talented one at that. She’s the Asian fairy of my upcoming film for Flowerbykenzo,” said Patrick Guedj, Kenzo Parfum’s art director.
