Bond No. 9 is a New York based fragrance house best known for creating fragrances that pay homage to New York City and its neighborhoods.

Bond No. 9 – named after its flagship boutique at 9 Bond Street in NoHo – was the brainchild of French perfume expert, Laurice Rahme, a resident of New York for 25 years.

I love the new, “controversial” Bond No. 9 Booklyn bottle though (Apparently some folks object to the idea of Brooklyn being represented by graffiti).

They have decorated directly onto the transparent glass surface with edgy, urban, handwrittenscript. I think it’s total eye candy… It reminds me of a subway train..

Unisex with a masculine attitude, the scent is romantic, sexy, and distinctive according to the press kit (we haven’t tried any sample yet).

“Woody, spicy-filled oriental notes that mingles cardamom, geranium leaves, and cedarwood while grapefruit and juniper leaves accelerate the scent, and South American guaiacwood and leather bring a tender, beckoning touch.”

Bond fragance

Bond currently has four stores in Manhattan and is sold exclusively at Saks Fifth Avenue nationwide. Internationally it is sold in Europe, the Middle East and parts of Asia.

Brooklyn is supposed to debut in March and costs $220 for 100ml, $145 for 50ml, which seems to price out slightly higher than the average Bond (Bond No. 9 Fragrances are fairly expensive… all ranging over $100)
