If you are travelling to one of these destinations for a beach holiday, you are just in time to view the first snowfall of the season.

The world’s best 50 beaches has been revealed and Grace Bay in Turks and Caicos topped the list this year. FlightNetwork, a Canadian online travel agency has consulted over 600 travel journalists, editors, bloggers and travel specialists to put together this comprehensive list.

Well, you might enjoy the white sandy beaches and the amazing turquoise waters or even the snow-capped mountain peaks out there, but the these people do this for a living. They were tasked to evaluate the definitive list of beaches according to their opinions and expertise. Each beach has been ranked according its beauty, remoteness, sand and water quality, including annual days of sunshine and average annual temperature.

“We don’t think there’s a more trustworthy or accurate list out there.” – Luke Sheehan, VP of Marketing at Flight Network.

A breakdown of the hottest beaches ranked by the globe’s top travel professionals revealed that Grace Bay and Australia’s Whitsunday Islands, followed by Anse Lazio in the Seychelles are listed top three, represented by beaches from Africa to Europe, to Asia, to North and South America.

“The protective and remarkably colorful barrier reef, which sits 1.6 kilometers off the shore, keeps the ocean swells at bay,” reads the report. “Swimmers enjoy consistent plush sands without the annoyance of rocks, seaweed or pollution.”
