French designer Philippe Boulet offers his illuminated furniture collection to those looking to spark up their life a bit.

He is famous for using LED technology to bring light to antique-looking pieces of furniture, like chairs, tables, commodes and last, but not least, beds.

His latest creation, the Poesy bed, is an amazing example of mixing classic and ultra-modern design, Boulet himself describing it as being a “poem” to modern living.

It has a remote control that allowing you to change the colors of lighting, and you can also program the lighting of the bed at the time of your choice.

But as wonderful as this piece of furniture is, it will probably cost almost a fortune, since the designer hasn’t even made the price public yet.

In 2005 Philippe Boulet was nominated at “Déco d’Or” headed by Philippe Starck.

He obtained in 2006 the “Medal of Ministry dedicated to small and medium companies” at International Concours Lépine and is recognised in the 2006 Inventories Dictionary.
