David Beckham to Debut Men’s Grooming Brand

Soccer star, fashionista and general heartthrob David Beckham announced the launch of his brand-new beauty brand this month, with 21-piece collection covering the grooming essentials for men

2018 turns out to be an exciting year for the former England captain, David Beckham as he is involved in a big-name collaboration. Back in 2016, he partnered the L’Oréal group and Biotherm brand to realise the creation of a skincare range.

This time, which is two years later, the former soccer star is back working with L’Oréal Luxe to debut a new global product line in men’s grooming called “House 99”. Inspired by the various iconic style of David Beckham, combined with British barbershop culture and the expertise of L’Oréal Luxe laboratories, the collection will feature 21 products, including products for hair, body, beard oil, hair balm, face moisturiser and tattoo cream, with formulations based on quinoa and spirulina.

House 99 by David Beckham: Home to your next look

Beckham announced on his instagram account on Tuesday morning, of his new partnership with House 99 that had garnered about 1.2 million likes, 3,270 comments and 1,167,868 views. He wrote:

Through this first-ever collection, David Beckham seeks to “give people the inspiration as well as the right products to experiment and feel completely at home doing so. House 99 is here to support men, to give them the tools they need to create whatever look they are going for,” he said in a statement on Tuesday morning. While “99” refers to the year he married Victoria and the year they had their son Brooklyn, and won the treble for Manchester United.

After two years in the making of the House 99 range, the brand will launch on February 1 in the UK, before going international from March 1, 2018.

Pricing is yet to be announced.
