Rolls-Royce presents the bespoke Suhail Collection

Rolls-Royce Unveils Suhail Collection for Phantom, Ghost and Wraith Models.

Rolls Royce Suhail Collection

has just unveiled the Suhail Collection which is the first bespoke collection to be offered across the firm’s full range of vehicles; the Phantom, Ghost and Wraith.

Suhail is one of the brightest star constellations and is believed by many to have been a major source of inspiration for the 10th-century Arabic mathematician, astronomer and physicist Ibn al-Haitham, the first scientist to put forward the notion that light is reflected into the eyes.

His pioneering work has left a lasting impression on Western scientific thinking that persists to this day.

Therefore, it should come as little surprise that celestial bodies, reflections and light are strong design and detailing themes that run throughout the bespoke collection of cars that bears its name.

STORY: ROLLS-ROYCE OWNERS LIKE THE PERSONAL TOUCH

The exterior paint finish is a unique moonstone pearl color that glistens and is off-set by a hand-painted Turchese Blue coachline.

Inside, the cabin’s ash burr wood fascias feature hand-matched and hand-set Suhail star emblems and the bespoke clock in the center of the dashboard console features the Suhail Ursa Minor and Major constellations on its clockface.

Contrasting creme light and turchese leathers have been selected for the seats and perhaps the most striking interior touch is the roof liner which, on the Phantom and Wraith models, illuminates like a constellation with hundreds of star lights plus an embroidered outline of the Suhail Ursa Minor and Major constellations.

2014 was an important year for Rolls-Royce Bespoke with many Collection cars being launched including Year of the Horse, Pinnacle Travel, Waterspeed, Metropolitan and Maharajah.
