Barcelonan designer, Jordi Canudas presented his new design WALLFA at the D3 Contest at the Imm Cologne 2008.
WALLFA is a 2-sided piece of furniture that is both a wall and a sofa combined. WALLFA is made from a stretchy membrane type of material that allows the users the ability to sit on either side for simple relaxation or communicating with friends or co-workers. WALLFA is a fun and inviting design by Canudas.

The new butterfly shaped coin chair sets in a new architectural style statement.It is made of hundreds of Half dollar coins and is hand-welded. It is made up of pure stainless steel. The contoured shape design secures a cradle for the body.

The folks at Wine Spectator’s Unfiltered column didn’t love it but I think the champagne cork and cage set from Michael Chiarello’s home furnishings company Napa Style is kind of kicky.
The cork stool in bright orange is not made of cork but of polyethylene and the stool is made of chromed steel. The fun part is that the two pieces can function as one unit or a separate stool and a table. It costs $448 for the set.
