This weird thing is a 1.2kW electric motor powered, carbon fiber foldable bike called the YikeBike.
YikeBike is a statement about using smart technology to solve the problems of our increasingly congested, polluted, stressful cities.
It is the first commercial expression of the mini-farthing concept, created up by a bunch of successful entrepreneurs, engineers and dreamers.

Bugatti unveiled a Sang Bleu special edition model of its new Veyron Grand Sport this weekend at Quail Lodge at Pebble Beach in California.
The Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Sang Bleu combines carbon fiber and polished aluminum - an innovative combination never realized before.
Bugatti calls this approach a ‘new dimension of « Art – Forme – Technique »’, the company’s core values statement.

Fans of luxury mobile phones will probably be interested in Vertu’s latest collection, called Ascent Ti Carbon Fibre.
This collection is a follow up of the previous Ferrari editions and Racetrack Legends series.
Vertu Ascent Ti Carbon Fibre will reportedly offer a 2 inch QVGA display, 3G, 4GB of internal memory and a 3.15MP camera with LED flash.

Audemars Piguet’s new Royal Oak Offshore Forged Carbon features a forged carbon case made of carbon fiber that has been compressed at high temperatures.
The case measures 42mm with a sapphire crystal and ceramic bezel. It features the exclusive AP caliber 3126/3840 Movement with a power reserve of 60 hours.
Zipping past the inner workings, the face of the watch has a special “mega tapestry” motif with yellow numerals and luminescent hands.

F1 designer Dominik Scheurer’s has created the world’s first carbon fibre chessboard.
The exclusivness here is given by the combination of high end materials, normally used in Motorsport or aerospace.
The board features carbon fiber pieces with high quality stainless steel feet, in 24 carat gold or sterling silver.
