General Motors-owned brand Cadillac will launch its new flagship sedan at the Los Angeles Auto Show, it announced this week.
The brand has now confirmed that the Cadillac XTS, first featured as a concept at last year’s Detroit Motor Show, will officially debut at the LA event.
Rumours surrounding the model reached fever pitch when Cadillac accidentally let slip a photo on their media website.

Iconic American luxury auto brand Cadillac has unveiled its new hybrid concept, described as an “expression of Cadillac’s historical grandeur.”
The Ciel concept, which will be on show at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, is a four-seat convertible powered by a 3.6-liter V-6 engine, paired with hybrid drive.
Designed to fit in with the touring cars on display at Pebble Beach, the model is “about the romance of the drive,” says Cadillac-owner General Motors, featuring generous room for two couples across two rows.

Only days from the release of Apple’s much-hyped iPad, a second automaker has announced that it plans to develop a publishing presence on the device.
US car brand Cadillac, a division of GM, has announced a partnership with design website Cool Hunting to develop an app for the iPad, which goes on sale in the US on April 3.
The new app will feature content from the influential Cool Hunting blog, described as a “daily look at ideas and products on the intersection of art, design, culture and technology.”
Cadillac appears to have found a way around its partner’s claim that “Money can buy you a lot of things, but it can’t buy you coverage on Cool Hunting.”
