For half a century, Bollinger has been paying tribute to the best that the Champagne region has to offer, by crafting its iconic cuvée, Bollinger R.D.
On 8th July 2011, the House of Bollinger will host a unique tasting at a top secret venue in Paris, to celebrate the vintages that produced this prestigious cuvée.
A small number of guests will be invited to share this exceptional experience, and for the first time ever, Bollinger will be opening the doors of its universe, with five places reserved for non-professional wine lovers.

As popping corks announce the New Year, champagne lovers can expect some radical new trends in the art of savouring a tipple that for centuries has been associated with celebration.
The true connoisseur should ditch the traditional long-stemmed flutes and the saucer-shaped coupes and instead start drinking the sparkling white wine from elongated, tulip-shaped glasses, say the experts.
And those seeking to be truly avant-garde should start serving the finest bubbly from carafes.

On the occasion of the release of the new Bond film Quantum of Solace launches Bollinger of Bollinger & Collectors Bullet 007.
The Bullet was designed by French designer Eric Berthès and includes a magnum bottle of Bollinger Grande Année 1999. The unique shape is inspired from bullet of the Walther PPK, the gun of choice for James Bond in the Quantum of Solace.
The “bullet” is supplied in a wooden coffin. The whole weighs more than 30 kg and costs “around” 4,000 euro ($5,765). Only 207 of these exclusive bottles will be produced, and each of them will be numbered.
