Glory glory! As we all know, Swiss Avant-Garde watchmaker TAG Heuer is now the official timekeeper for legendary Red Devils —  Manchester United. But what better way to celebrate this new partnership with, you guessed it, watches. The watchmaker has unveiled not one, but two timepieces as a tribute to its new partner and to seal this collaboration. The special-edition watches were unveiled at an event held at the iconic Old Trafford stadium, along with four of its first team players including captain Wayne Rooney. The TAG Heuer FORMULA 1 Chrono and TAG Heuer Carrera Chrono Heuer-01 are a pair of sporty and streamlined steel Chronographs, dressed in the club’s signature red and black.

The 43 mm FORMULA 1 Chrono is a quartz chronograph, which honours the classic Manchester United logo on the 1/10^th second counter at six o’clock. Beautifully sleek, the chronograph is covered in a black PVD coating, which contrasts the striking red lacquered number 12. Coupled with black gold and white Superluminova™ for the hour and minute hands and the baton indices, the brand accomplishes impeccable finishes on the watch to honour one of the most prestigious of clubs.

TAG Heuer’s classic 45mm Carrera Heuer-01 is the other half of the pair, gloriously repackaged into an illustrious special edition in the club’s colours. Unlike the FORMULA 1 Chrono, the Carrera boasts the vibrant Red Devil logo at a much larger portion of the watch dial — at 9 o’clock. The TAG Heuer shield is placed opposite it, highlighting the union between both brands. The black sapphire case-back is similarly contrasted by the fiery Manchester United Red Devil decal logo, a symbol that TAG Heuer has been able to stylishly pay homage to the club not once, but twice. Two straps are available: red with black top-stitching or black with a red top-stitching
