Louis Vuitton has unveiled a new campaign featuring a star line-up of Christy Turlington, Natalia Vordinova and Karen Elson.

Steven Meisel shot all three models in a New York studio made to look like a Hollywood star’s old-fashioned dressing room.

Turlington, Elson, and Vodianova look perfectly put together dressed in Jacobs’s “And God Created Woman” collection of corseted waists and circle skirts with their hair in the same fresh-looking, ’50s-style high ponytails from the Vuitton runway.

In keeping with the ladylike mood, the spotlight also falls on Louis Vuitton’s dazzling reinterpretations of its iconic Speedy handbag, in alligator, waxed calf leather, or flocked and sequined Monogram canvas.

“The strength of Louis Vuitton is its almost magical ability to reinvent itself every season,” said creative director Marc Jacobs.

“Last season was all about the idea of the New Age traveller. This season was a manifesto for beautiful, ladylike clothes. Two different collections, two different campaigns, but one Louis Vuitton.”

The autumn/winter 2010-2011 advertising campaign will launch in August 2010 issues of the worldwide fashion press.
