David and Victoria Beckham are reportedly keen to snap up George Clooney’s Lake Como villa after he put it up for sale.
The 48-year-old actor has put his Italian home on the market because of harrassment by paparazzi.
Beckham and his wife, Victoria, are said to have “fallen in love” with the villa while staying with Clooney last Spring, with the football star later telling team mates it was “quiet and peaceful and not far from Milan”.
The villa complex includes a botanical garden, tennis courts and an annex.
Clooney and Ms Canalis are said to be looking for “somewhere more private”, possibly in Le Marche or Sardinia.
