Adam Magyar’s journey through the underground

Feb 18, 2014 | By Staff Writer

In the underground train stations of the busiest cities in the world, Adam Magyar videoed commuters standing on the platforms as his train approached. With the sophisticated technology assembled by Magyar himself, he was able to capture moments the naked eye could never see, all with perfect clarity. Stretching seconds into minutes, Magyar captured the activity and detail of bystanders waiting for their trains in places like Berlin, Shinjuku and New York City. The combination of high speed cameras and scanners caught moments whilst eliminating any distortions, providing an astonishing series of images and videos that lend perspective on the limitations of our senses, and the details we cannot catch.
