The Hilton Bodrum Turkbuku Resort & Spa is situated in the Paradise Bay area of the region, a quieter area north of Bodrum which boasts a crystal-clear bay and comparatively little development.

Hilton’s property features five restaurants and five bars, offering everything from traditional Turkish cuisine to Italian food, local seafood and a traditional pub.

Hotel brand Accor opened a new property in the Western Chinese city of Lijiang this month, as travelers seek to widen their experience of the once-unknown country.

Accor said that it was opening the Pullman Lijiang Resort & Spa in Yunnan province as China’s “wild west” becomes increasingly popular with experienced Australian travelers, who are now looking for lesser-known spots.

The resort offers a mixture of rooms and villas, with a 2000 square meter spa, lakeside bars and two restaurants serving international and Chinese cuisine.

Global hotel chain Hilton has announced that it is to follow competitor Sheraton in revamping its global spas.

The brand, which operates 123 spas around the world and has another 80 under construction, says that its new “eforea” spas will “bring balance and wellness to the body and take guests on a transformative journey of the senses.”

In an attempt to broaden the appeal of the spas, Hilton has opted to add a “Men’s Journey,” which comprises “goal driven treatments” such as body repair and a heated bamboo massage, as one of three signature offerings.
