Montigne was built in 2009 by Turkish yard Aegean Yachts, for an experienced yacht owner who hails from Southeast Asia and is available for sale via Simpson Marine.
She is the well-executed culmination of the many thoughts and experiences the owner has had when sailing in his other yachts.
The sailboat offers charter guests ample opportunity to enjoy the outside world is extremely generous when it comes to guest accommodations.
Mahogany wood is used throughout, with the tasteful application of burled Olive for cabinet tops and facings.
The main room is an oasis of calm created by a massive, almost completely square space that naturally divides into four areas.
Forward and running across the full beam, is a beautifully polished Mahogany dining table, with a stunning inlay of olive wood.
It seats 12 at a banquet without any crowding. To starboard, the saloon has its own grand piano, which features an auto-pilot, letting the unskilled bash out anything from sonatas to sing-a-longs at the touch of a button.
A handsome card table surrounded by dainty antique style chairs sits to port opposite a massive L-shaped sofa with four comfortable chairs gathered around a glass topped coffee table.
This makes a grand spot to watch a movie indoors and take advantage of the 65-inch plasma TV screen from Panasonic.
Right aft, stairs lead down to the master stateroom. The owner’s suite is huge and fitted with a king-sized bed that looks almost lost in such a gracious cabin. His and hers vanity desks are to port, while two starboard sofas are finished in red silk.
A 42-inch flat screen is on the bulkhead and the bathroom has a full sized deep bath as well as a powerful rain shower.
Back in the main saloon and forward on the port side, stairs lead down to the other guest staterooms.
On the lower deck, a massive VIP stateroom easily the size and magnitude of the master stateroom is aft with two queen size double cabins in the centre and two more twin cabins right forward.
In total Montigne has 6 luxurious en-suite staterooms, including 4 doubles (3 king and 1 queen) and 2 double/twin cabins.
Undoubtedly, the main deck outside is the most popular place to lounge and eat.
A huge circular dining table with a lazy Susan is perfect for a large group to enjoy the chef’s Chinese banquets, while the entire aft end is the ultimate cushioned lounging pad to snooze or watch the outdoor TV in the shade.
This area can be transformed into an enclosed space when the elements are adverse using drop down screens, while a clever system of misting sprays and chilled air cooler fans ensures it is never too hot.
On top of a state of the art audio-visual system throughout, Montigne offers as well as an extensive watersports toys list.
Montigne is available for Charter throughout SE Asia for 2011 into 2012 and is on the market for sale. The owner has also put her up for sale for €16,500,000.
