IYC announce two new superyacht charter listings

IYC (International Yacht Collection, LLC.), recently announced the addition of two new superyachts to their charter and management fleet, the M/Y TUSCAN SUN and the M/Y CHEVY TOY (Ex JANIE).

The 147’ 7” (45m) six (6) stateroom M/Y TUSCAN SUN was built in 2006 by Izar/Navantia and can accommodate twelve (12) guests. She has a crew of nine (9). The beautiful interior also includes oversize windows on the main and bridge decks that provide stunning views. A selection of water toys are available as well as a gym.

The TUSCAN SUN is available at a rate of EU 160,000/wk. for the Summer of 2008 and $235,000/wk. for the Winter of 2008/09. Her charter schedule is West Med – Riviera/Corsica/Sardinia, West Med – Naples/Sicily for the Summer of 2008 and Caribbean – Windward, Caribbean – Leeward for Winter 2008/09.

The 157’ (47.8m) M/Y CHEVY TOY has a spectacularly rich interior that mirrors a stately home of Europe. Built in 2004 by Trinity Yachts, this plush superyacht has a baby grand piano, large swim platform, and air-conditioned alfresco dining for 10 on the aft deck. There is also a Kaleidescape entertainment system throughout for easy selection from yacht’s central movie and music libraries.

The CHEVY TOY is available at a rate of $157,000/wk. in the Bahamas for Summer 2008 and $165,000/wk. in Winter 2008/09 in Caribbean – Windward, Caribbean – Leeward.

Built in 1920 but wonderfully restored in 2006 to her former glory, S/Y Lulworth is available for sale with an asking price of Euro 14,950,000 through Richard Earp of Fraser Yachts, Monaco.

Bell & Ross Instrument Tourbillon and Grand Minuteur

Switzerland’s Basel Fair is just around the corner and to most watch aficionados that means seeing the newest designs from all of the major watch brands.

One brand we always look forward to is Bell & Ross, who just unveiled their Minuteur Tourbillon and Grand Minuteur timepieces.

The Minuteur Tourbillon features a satin polished pink gold case that houses a manually wound mechanical movement, flyback function, and three-day power reserve indicator.

The Maltese Falcon Yacht: Set to Sale

Just in time to set sail this summer, the Maltese Falcon mega-yacht, measuring 288 feet long, is for sale.

Sailing charter company Perini Navi USA recently put this yacht on the market for an eye-popping $115 million.

The Maltese Falcon sailed for the first time last June, awing nay-sayers with its revolutionary technology and groundbreaking design.

The Maltese Falcon sports a riveting fifteen sails with an area of 2,400 square meters.

There are five lavish staterooms that can be used to entertain up to 12 guests and house 18 crewmembers (including six attractive stewardesses), and has a revolutionary navigation system called the Falcon rig.

The Maltese Falcon is powered by two Deutz TBD60 engines and will fly through the sea at an amazing nineteen and a half knots per hour.
