All eyes were on Macau today as the curtains raised on the highly anticipated debut of the Asian edition of Top Marques, the only live supercar show in the world.
Macau has established itself as the world’s gaming capital over the past decade, and Top Marques Macau will certainly give those gamblers plenty to think about.
Top Marques Monaco has been staged in April for the past eight years at that city’s Grimaldi Forum and has been labeled “The World’s Most Exclusive Auto Show” by The New York Times, and “The Greatest Show on Earth” by the Financial Times.

The new collection of Louis Vuitton City Guides have been released on October 15th, touching down in totally unprecedented cities.

Casino giant Las Vegas Sands is planning to expand across Asia as figures suggested another Asian country will overtake Las Vegas in terms of gambling.
The gaming giant, which has already constructed massive resorts in Singapore and Macau, is looking to expand to other Asian nations and even to Europe, according to reports from the Global Gaming Expo Asia this week.
Taiwan, Vietnam, Japan and Korea are among the company’s Asia targets, with boss Sheldon Adelson describing the region as its “first preference.”

In a matter of just a decade China has established itself as the world’s largest car-buying market. And, just as other industries are finding, when the Chinese like to buy, they like to buy luxury.
Daimler AG — owners of Mercedes-Benz — recently announced it had shifted 15,000 units of that car in January alone, a rise of 90 percent from last year, while BMW moved more than 20,000, up more than 70 percent.
And it’s a fair guess that those sorts of figures are why Top Marques Monaco — to be held from April 14 to 17 this year and an event which bills itself as “the only live supercar show in the world” — has decided upon the southern Chinese enclave of Macau to host its first Asian edition.
Top Marques Macau will be now be hosted annually at The Venetian Macao resort, with the first edition set down for November 24-27.


Stanley Ho recently matched his own world record price paid for a truffle when he bought a couple white truffles for a total cost of $330,000 at a truffle auction.
The billionaire made his winning bid through representatives at the event held at his own Grand Lisboa hotel in Macau last week end.
Ho’s winning bid bought him a giant truffle from Italy’s central Tuscany region that weighed about 900 grams and a smaller one of about 400 grams.
