Tom Dixon will be using IMM Cologne as the platform to launch his studio’s latest designs this month.

The British creative will be presenting the Y Chair, an ergonomic and robust textured nylon chair designed with the hospitality industry in mind, which took two years to create. The chair’s contemporary shape provides lumbar support while resisting fatigue and the design is entirely recyclable.

Also on display will be the brand’s Beat pendant light, now available in a contemporary brushed brass finish, and the Etch shade now available in black.

Other key designers to look out for at the event include Axor which is presenting its Shower Products range designed with Swedish design trio Front and the Japanese design studio Nendo. The star attraction of the range is the LampShower, which blends light and water in a hybrid bathroom design.

B&B Italia is also highly anticipated, with an exhibition space of 700 square meters displaying the brand’s new Maxalto and Outdoor collections as well as showcasing the launch of the Mirto series of sunbeds, folding armchairs, and tables designed by Antonio Citterio for the Outdoor Collection.
