
Rappers’ fascination with luxury brands is far from dying down: following this summer’s surprise hit “Gucci Gucci” by Kreayshawn, it is Soulja Boy who is expressing his fashion love with an EP dedicated to Bernard Arnault.
Soulja Boy has turned his attention to Arnault’s signature brand Louis Vuitton, offering lyrics such as: “It don’t make no sense why they LV fake. But mine’s real!”
But while Soulja Boy manages to mention and correctly pronounce the label more than 60 times, Arnault likely won’t be pleased with being called Robert instead of Bernard several times as part of the new song.


After DJ Diplo, Alexander Wang hired rappers Santigold and Spankrock to star in his latest campaign clip.
Santigold has been increasingly venturing into the realms of fashion recently, having just designed a collection with urban shoe brand Vans.
As part of an ongoing trend of recording artists premiering their new tracks in advertising, the video is set against an exclusive remix of Santigold’s “Go.”


Rihanna will replace Megan Fox in the next cycle of underwear and jeans ads for Emporio Armani.
Rumors were previously swirling when the star tweeted: “U would NEVER guess what I’m doing right now!!! Hint Hint #Armani,” but now it’s official: she will star in the campaign for both lines starting this fall.
Rihanna is upping her advertising game at the moment, also having just been named the new face of skincare brand Nivea.

Wearing brand-new Chanel Couture that had walked the night before, Anna accepted her pin in front of a crowd that included Bernard Arnault, Karl Lagerfeld, Stefano Pilati, Donatella Versace, Tommy Hilfiger, Alber Elbaz, Franca Sozzani, and Riccardo Tisci.
Wintour was awarded a Chevalier (Knight) of the Order, which was established by Napoleon Bonaparte in 1802 and signifies the highest order of decoration in France.


The Oyster Box, one of South Africa’s most lavish hotels, will host a reception for Prince Albert II of Monaco and his new bride, Charlene Wittstock, as they visit the eastern port city of Durban this week.
The five-star hotel is famous for sweeping views of the Indian Ocean and a presidential suite that lists for 50,000 rand ($7,400) a night.
The royal newlyweds, who are in town for a meeting of the International Olympic Committee will be throwing a party at the seaside hotel for 400 guests on Thursday.


Hollywood actress Cameron Diaz has become the new face of luxury watch brand Tag Heuer. The multi-million dollar deal will feature Diaz as a brand “ambassador.
The actress follows in the footsteps of Leonardo DiCaprio, Maria Sharapova and Tiger Woods, who have all starred in campaigns for the watch manufacturers.
