Two new performance machines were just announced in South Africa in the past weeks.
Earlier we saw the covers come off the oddly-named Barnard supercar, an ominous, all-black Le Mans style racer with the heart of a Porsche. Today we have the first details about the Perana Z-One.
Zagato, a design and engineering services company located just outside of Milan, has teamed up with South Africa’s Perana Performance Group to build this sweet looking car which will be unveiled at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show next month.
The car will house a General Motors 6.2L LS3 V8 and should deliver 440+ hp with a 0-60mph time of under 4 seconds.
Styling cues appear to be borrowed from Ferrari 599 GTB and the Shelby Cobra with a touch of Aston Martin.
Only 999 Units will be built. Pricing is not known at this point but speculation is ranging anywhere from $64,000 and $115,000.
