Sands Announces The Parisian Macau’s Opening Date

Marking Sands China’s fourth installation in the gambling city, The Parisian is set to evoke the elegance of its namesake French capital.

Visitors to Macau would be fully aware that national boundaries hold no relevance to the gambling capital. Want a touch of Italian in the Oriental city? One need only visit The Venetian, the first hotel opened by Sands China in Macau. Ten years since its opening, and a grand total of three hotels later (Sands also counts The Plaza and Sands Cotai Central to their name), it is time for a little Parisian chic.

Enter The Parisian, the latest installation by Macau’s leading developer of Integrated Resorts. A certain mark of grandness has come to be expected by now, and The Parisian does not disappoint; the 3,000-room resort comes with a 1,200-seat theatre and the Shoppes at Parisian, reminiscent of the streets of Paris. Even more impressive is the half-scale replica of the Eiffel Tower, an iconic addition to the city’s skyline. One need not brave the throngs of tourists at the actual monument to get that picture-perfect moment anymore.

Commenting on the newest addition Sands Chairman and CEO Sheldon Adelson said, “Our goal to create a large-scale leisure and business destination in Macao, which started with the opening of The Venetian Macao nearly 10 years ago, will be fully realized when The Parisian opens its doors in a matter of weeks.”

The Parisian will open in Macau on September 13. For more information (and to make advance bookings), visit The Parisian Macau’s website here.
