Louboutin documentary to air this week in the UK
Channel 4 will give its viewers a glimpse into Christian Louboutin’s world this week, when it airs “Christian Louboutin: The World’s Most Luxurious Shoes.
A documentary on French shoe designer Christian Louboutin is to be aired on Channel 4 in the UK this week, reports Women’s Wear Daily.
The hour-long film, directed by Michael Waldman, looks at the life and business of being Louboutin — such as his growing enterprise in Asia and a new collection made of wood from the Himalayas.
Viewers get a sneak peek into the everyday life of a global shoe mogul at Paris fashion week, his factory in Milan or meeting clients in India.
Channel 4 has dubbed the Brook Lapping Productions documentary as giving “not only an insight into the business of luxury shoes, but the changing tides of wealth and power across the globe.”
The documentary airs on Channel 4 Tuesday at 9 p.m.
