Sunseeker 116 and 131 will be flagship models at Monaco Yacht Show 2018

Sunseeker is primed to flaunt eight models, among it the stunning new 74 sport, at the upcoming Cannes Yachting Festival, too.

Sunseeker 116 and 131 are some of the exciting new models to be showcased, not forgetting its world premiere of its stunning new 74 Sport Yacht. The 131 will be the flagship model. The 74 Sport Yacht has an exceptional flybridge that is almost unperceivable within her profile lines. See flybridge interior here, and profile in a yard feature on Sunseeker starting page 142. Depending on the owner’s wishes, this model can be transformed into an “open” yacht in warmer regions, or “closed” for cooler climes, using an innovative cockpit door mechanism that lowers itself into the sole of the yacht.

Sunseeker 74 salon

Stepping aboard, the salon has a sumptuous lounge and dining area, while below deck there is a generous galley and three specious ensuite cabins, comprising an aft master stateroom, starboard twin and forward VIP. Apart from this premiere and the 131 Yacht, Sunseeker is showing the 95 Yacht, 86 Yacht, Manhattan 66, Manhattan 52, Predator 57 and Predator 50 in Cannes. Southampton Boat Show starting only a few days later is important for this British yard majority-owned by China’s Wanda Group too. For the first time in the show’s history, it will showcase all six models on water in the event’s marina. On display are the latest Predator 50 and Predator 74, as well as the 95 Yacht. Manhattan 66, Manhattan 52 and Predator 57.

Sunseeker 116 anchored

The 131 Yacht and 116 Yacht will both be featured among the elite superyachts at Monaco Yacht Show in late September. Sunseeker delivered another nine yachts over 100 feet in the last year, bringing the superyacht total to 129 vessels since it entered this segment in 2001. Demand for the tri-deck 131 Yacht has been unprecedented since its introduction. Billed as a bespoke yacht, an owner indeed gets the full custom treatment is ordering a 131 or 116. Standard configuration is ten guests in five cabins, with scope for 12 depending on options. Based on the classic Sunseeker deep V hull, this yacht is equally comfortably operating at 10 knots for an extended cruising range of 1,500 nm, or at 23 knots for ultimate performance. The Sunseeker 116 Yacht’s rakish looks and uniquely designed layout make this the ultimate boat for entertaining in style, says a spokesman.
