The New $9 Million Cessna CJ4

Cessna is finally set to begin deliveries of its long-awaited $9 Million Citation CJ4 light business jet later this year.

The Citation CJ4 is the newest and largest member of the popular CJ family of business jets consisting of the Citation CJ1+, CJ2+ and CJ3.

The CJ4 is, essentially, a stretch version of the CJ3 and the cabin can be configured for up to eight passengers with a standard, belted aft lavatory.

Luxury car manufacturer Rolls-Royce said its first app for the iPhone and iPod touch is now available at the App Store.

Exclusive to Rolls-Royce’s latest model – the Ghost – this application allows consumers to design and configure it to their exact specifications.

The Ghost app allows you to choose from the thousands of design combinations available at Rolls-Royce dealerships.

Vanessa Paradis: new face of Chanel Coco Cocoon

Chanel has released the new ad campaign for its Coco Cocoon handbag range, starring French actress Vanessa Paradis.

Paradis, one of the brand’s ‘favorites,’ previously starred in Chanel’s commercials for the Coco fragrance in 1992 and Ligne Cambon handbags in 2004, and succeeds singer Lily Allen in the Coco Cocoon ads.

Chanel choosing Paradis is one of the few examples of luxe brands going for celebrities instead of models to represent their products this season.

2010 BMW Z4 sDrive35is Mille Miglia Limited Edition

In celebration of the 70th anniversary of BMW’s history victories at the Mille Miglia, BMW has marked the occasion with a few events and restoration cars.

However, now BMW has gone one step further and taken its top of the line roadster, the Z4 sDrive35is, and created a limited edition Mille Miglia edition.

Only 99 units will be buit, each coming with a Polaris Metallic matte finish, blacked out front grill, an M aerodynamic kit and 19-inch wheels finished in Dark Chrome.

Mercedes-Benz Helicopter Unveiled in Geneva


German automaker Daimler has just released the details and images of the Mercedes Eurocopter EC145 helicopter which had its debut in Geneva.

The Mercedes Eurocopter EC145 helicopter is built by EADS and has received the styling touch of the German carmaker.

Designed at the automotive manufacturer’s studio in Como, Italy, the EC145 is a mid-sized, twin-engine helicopter, which can accommodate eight passengers.

The Eurocopter EC145 chopper was presented for the first time this week at Geneva’s European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition.

Christian Louboutin for Barbie: Anemone Barbie

Barbie continues to take the fashion world by storm and thanks to shoe designer Christian Louboutin, she’s just received a third, red-carpet worthy makeover.

Dressed in a satin gown with lilac Anemone Louboutin’s, the Anemone Barbie is ready to attend the Cannes film festival in style.

Barbie revealed her first outfit in the Christian Louboutin collection last November, the Cat Burglar.

Her second look, Forever Dolly, was revealed in February, a safari chic ensemble with fuschia over-the-knee fringed boots.

Louis Vuitton to encase World Cup Trophy

The World Cup trophy will be carried in a custom-made Louis Vuitton trunk before it is presented to the winning team in South Africa in July, the Guardian reports.

The 18-carat gold trophy 32cm-high, 6,175gm trophy is currently transported in a battered aluminium case.

Fifa requested the world’s number one luxury bag manufacturer to come up with something a little more fitting.

‘When you have the most beautiful girl in the world you hope she will wear the most beautiful dress,’ said Jérôme Valcke, secretary general of Fifa.

Swiss hotel launches travel timekeeping package

The Le Richemond Hotel in the Swiss city of Geneva claims it has become the first in the world to offer guests the service of a “watch butler.”

The Swiss hotel has introduced a new service for watch lovers by employing the services of Pierre Jacques, the head of Swiss watch boutique Les Ambassadeurs, to advise guests interested in Switzerland’s famous horology industry.

The “watch butler” is on hand to display particular timepieces as well as being able to arrange private tours to top-end timepiece manufacturing sites such as Vacheron Constantin, Roger Dubuis and Franck Muller.

Picasso piece sets record for art sold at auction

A 1932 Pablo Picasso painting of his mistress has sold for $106.5 million, a world record price for any work of art at auction.

“Nude, Green Leaves and Bust,” which had a pre-sale estimate of between $70 million and $90 million, was sold at Christie’s auction house on Tuesday evening to an unidentified telephone bidder.

The Spanish master’s painting eclipses the record set in February, when Alberto Giacometti’s “Walking Man I” sculpture sold in London for 104.3 million.

Luxury hotel opens in Soviet landmark

A Soviet-era landmark in the center of Moscow has reopened as a luxury hotel after a three-year renovation.

The former Hotel Ukraina was known as one of the “Seven Sisters,” an iconic set of skyscrapers built under Stalin between 1947 and 1953 to rival the structures springing up in capitalist cities such as New York.

Built in an elaborate gothic style with a “wedding-cake” construction and spires, they were intended to symbolize Soviet power and achievement.

Ferrari World’s F430 Spider-inspired rollercoaster

As you probably know the Italian supercar maker has entered the entertainment business by building the Ferrari World Theme Park in Abu Dhabi.

Among the twenty or so rides and attractions featured at the park will be the GT roller coaster and this here is the first photograph of the car.

Each coaster vehicle in this particular ride is a replica of a Ferrari F430 Spider that can seat up to four people.

The Rolls Royce wine delivery van

Based on a 1979 Silver Shadow II this Rolls-Royce panel van was commissioned by Krug Champagne – now part of the LVMH wine division – back in 1984.

With the front two seats remaining the rear has been filled with a pair of refrigerators to keep your bubbly at the optimum temperature.

Covered in special Krug white and burgundy livery, the detailing includes lots of shining chrome and even a key fob made out of a bottle cork.

MB&F Horological Machine No. 3 Frog

Maximilian Busser & Friends (MB&F) has revealed his latest master timepiece, the Horological Machine No. 3 Frog, a whimsical twist on the HM3.

The time is displayed by two rotating domes underneath a pair of sapphire crystals that resemble a frog’s eyes.

The protruding eyes of the (amphibian) frog enable it to see in many directions without having to turn its head.

On the new HM3, the hour and minute indicators are raised domes that, like the frog, can give their owner a wider view of the time without having to twist a wrist.

New photos of superyacht Eclipse

Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich’s new yacht, measuring nearly 560 feet long, is the biggest private yacht in the world.

The yacht, named Eclipse, reportedly features a missile defense system, an anti-paparazzi laser shield and at least one mini-submarine.

The Eclipse is also said to have two helipads, two swimming pools — the larger of which converts into a dance floor when drained.

Jean Charles de Castelbajac Invades Selfridges

Designer Jean Charles de Castelbajac is following in the footsteps of Alexander McQueen, Vivienne Westwood and LV by taking over the windows of Selfridges.

Five of the store’s famous windows will also be inhabited for his time in the rooms, which runs between April 30th and June 30th.

According to his label, Castelbajac will literally create “an alien invasion of the city,” in which he will showcase his ready-to-wear collections.

One million iPads sold in the US

Apple announced that it had sold more than one million iPads on May 3, just 28 days after the connected tablet device was introduced in the US.

“One million iPads in 28 days–that’s less than half of the 74 days it took to achieve this milestone with iPhone,” said Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO.

“Demand continues to exceed supply and we’re working hard to get this magical product into the hands of even more customers.”

More than 5,000 iPad native apps have appeared in the App Store since the device was announced.

Space Invaders Rendered In Fine French Silver

For those that seek retro chic in only its finest forms, luxury French silverware designers Christofle have lent their touch to one of video gaming’s most iconic images: the Space Invader.

The first Space Invaders game appeared in 1978, with endless rows of pixelized grimacing aliens marching like an army of robot crabs towards earth’s one brave remaining defender.

A Parisian street artist known only as ‘Invader’ helped to inspire a pop culture comeback for the diminutive creatures 20 years later when, in 1998, he started a public installation of mosaic-tiled Space Invaders on buildings and facades in some of the world’s most bustling cities.

Longtime Hermes luxury group boss dies

Jean-Louis Dumas, who chaired the French luxury goods group Hermes for almost three decades until 2006, has died at the age of 72, his spokesman said on Sunday. He died on Saturday in Paris.

Dumas took over in 1978 as head of the illustrious fashion and luxury house, which was founded by his family five generations earlier, in 1837.

Under his leadership, Hermes became a global brand, turning over 1.9 billion euros in 2009, with wide-ranging interests including stakes in the prestigious German camera maker Leica or Jean-Paul Gaultier’s fashion house.
