Beckham’s bulldog has luxurious flight to LA

According to The Daily Mail, David Beckham has allegedly spent £2,000 ($3,300) flying his pet bulldog puppy to Los Angeles.

The British Bulldog puppy was a gift from Victoria and was put on a plane – first-class of course – and flown out to their LA home by a specialist service.

The Beckham’s used the UK’s premier pet transportation company, PetAir, for the 5,500-mile journey which reportedly begun with a slap-up meal at the home of celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay.

Britain gets fourth Michelin three-starred restaurant

Britain got its fourth three-star Michelin restaurant on Friday as French chef Alain Ducasse’s restaurant at The Dorchester Hotel earned the rare top ranking.

Ducasse joins Heston Blumenthal, Gordon Ramsay and Alain Roux in the three-star elite club in the 2010 Michelin Guide Great Britain and Ireland.

2010 Hurun Best of the Best Awards

The Hurun “Best of the Best” 2010 Awards for preferred brands of China’s  richest consumers were announced yesterday by Hurun Report.

The luxury business magazine is renowned for its annual “China Rich List

In its sixth edition Hurun surveyed 383 mainland millionaires, each with assets of at least RMB 10 million ($1.5 million).

Among them 66 people have assets of at least RMB 100 million (USD 15 million).

Bugatti Renaissance Concept

Called the Bugatti Renaissance, this concept car is the creation of designer John Mark Vicente.

Vicente is a Communication Design graduate from Emily Carr University of Art and Design in Vancouver. he drew the vehicle as part of his prior coursework.

“These projects are personal reflections of my understanding of design as an art, science, and philosophy,” Vicente says on his website.

As reported last October, Emporio Armani’s Underwear and Armani Jeans spring/summer 2010 ad campaigns featuring Megan Fox is finally out.

The new series of ads, shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott will be unveiled in February on billboards in fashion meccas like New York, Tokyo and Milan.

The Underwear ad campaign was shot in a Los Angeles studio by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, and for Armani Jeans, she appears in skinny denim, including a white version topped with a white shirt.

Tony Blair For Louis Vuitton?

Former U.K. prime minister Tony Blair is set to take on a highly-paid advisory role at at luxury goods group LVMH.

Blair is understood to be in the final stages of negotiating a six-figure pay package at the group, which is owned by France’s richest man Bernard Arnault.

Blair already gets £2.5m from the U.S. investment bank JP Morgan and a further £2million as an adviser with the finance firm Zurich.
