Printemps renovates store and style

Printemps store Paris, the largest beauty department in the world, is about halfway through a $100 million renovation that it hopes to complete in 2010.

“Our vision is to make Printemps the best store in the world,” said Paolo de Cesare, the store’s president and chief executive.

For now, Printemps is under a giant tentwhile a team of 60 artisans bring the flagship’s 1883 façade back to its original Belle Epoque glory.

“Hublot Tower Clock” unveiled in Manchester

On August 28th, Jean-Claude Biver unveiled in front of the Old Trafford stadium the biggest clock ever built by Hublot.

It was specially created for the reigning English champions, and, at a height of 10 metres, designed to take pride of place in front of the legendary stadium.

The clock was unveiled in the presence of Sir Alex Ferguson and the Manchester United players.

Victoria Beckham Fall 2009 ad campaign

For her latest ad campaign, Victoria Beckham has chosen the St Stephens Gardens in Westminister London for let models swing in unison on the doorstep of Central London Townhouses.

Shot in one take and co-directed by Mat Jerrett and Beckham herself, the short video is entitled Swings and also shows Victoria in a small cameo with her profile visible in the last few seconds wearing an elegant piece of her new collection.

Beckham’s Fall 2009 fabulous dress collection is stylish but timeless with classically-inspired pieces. It will be available at Bergdorf Goodman.

Keith Haring Domino Set by Vilac

To spice up our favourite game of Domino, Vilac have released a Keith Haring version of the normally seen black and white game.

With renowned artist Keith Haring’s personal drawings and writing, the box set of Dominos in now available from Paul Smith.

Automotive design comes to superyachts

The 125m 7Cs superyacht was created in-house by Drive, a leading company in Marine and Automotive design.

Drive’s designers were keen to challenge the traditional proportions of a superyacht and create a vessel that borrowed tried and tested ideas from the automotive industry.

This concept yacht has a sunken pool, helipad, retractable cover, Jacuzzi and a boatload of luxury for the interiors.
