Sex and the City 2: dresses and prices

How many people around the globe are waiting for Sex and the City 2?

And over all how many of them wants to know all the secrets about dresses, accessories, gadgets and everything Carries Bradshaw and her friends will wear in the movie?

We don’t know but it’s true that Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah JessicaParer), Miranda Hobbs (Cynthia Nixon), Charlotte York (Kristin Davis) and Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall) are together an exciting gang for every fashion addicted that wants to know: what will the four lovely ladies wear?

And….how much do their cool things cost?

Let’s see: in the photograph a newly single Samantha Jones carried a VBH Palm clutch in shocking mastice drip python (worth $1300), gold hoop earrings and black Ray Ban shades.

Miranda was really lovely with her $795 Yves Saint Laurent Triumph platforms.

Charlotte was the delicious lady in pink with a $790 skirt, $3,090 jacket and $6,650 Lady Dior in Pink Lizzard handbag. Total look Christian Dior except the white and pink Louboutin slingbacks.

Carrie Bradshaw in this first shot was wearing a very chic vintage dress, $325 V-neck white Halston Heritage piece, with colurful jeweled Solange Azagury-Partridge necklace that cost $198,200.

She added gold sparkling allure with Mykita & Bernhard Wilhelm shades, a lovely gold and metal Chanel clutch and sky-high Christian Louboutin sparkling gold pigalle heels.

While in this one, Carrie Bradshaw rocked $835 Brian Atwood Loca heels.

Here Parker shined in a $435 Halston Heritage cocktail dress, Jee Vice’s $170 Heated shades in orange, Christian Louboutin’s $865 Gino T-strap heels and $1,795 large Sylvia hobo bag.

Last but not least, Sarah Jessica Parker wearing the same backless Christian Dior’s newspaper-print dress that she had worn during Season 3 of Sex and the City (when she apologized to Natasha for wrecking her marriage with Big).

She paired her $1,785 Christian Louboutin lace booties with this special dress.

Google teams up with Hasbro for online Monopoly

Launched last week, Monopoly City Streets uses the Google Maps platform to let users “buy” any street in the world.

The goal of the game of chance, like the real-world version, is to earn money on real estate and become the richest property magnate.

New players are given three million Monopoly dollars to build their virtual empire with every street in the world, in theory, available for purchase.

Fabergé Relaunches after More Than 90 Years

After two years of planning, Fabergé , the brand famous for its ornately jeweled eggs, has presented its first jewelry collection in 92 years.

The collection uses hundreds or thousands of tiny gems on each piece to create mosaic effects on rings, brooches, earrings and necklaces.

The collection was designed by Parisian artist-jeweler Frederic Zaavy in collaboration with Faberge Creative Director Katharina Flohr.

Although he will not get access to the full amount, he will be able to receive £300,000 worth of interest each year from the money left by Princess Diana.

But despite becoming a multi-millionaire, Harry will not be celebrating his birthday in the usual style.

Tom Ford movie “A Single Man” at Venice film fest

Tom Ford, the former star designer at Gucci, makes his directorial debut at the Venice Film Festival, with A Single Man an intimate movie about coping with loss and grief.

Ford said that it is “the most personal thing” he has ever done.

The first trailer for the movie features a cameo by Ford’s favorite ad model, Jon Kortajarena, as hustler Carlos.

Chinese Millionaire Buys World’s Most Expensive Dog

A Chinese woman has reportedly paid a whopping 4 million Yuan ($585,000) to buy a new pet dog.

The 18-month old dog, a Tibetan mastiff measuring 80cm high, is now believed to be the world’s most expensive dog.

The Chinese woman revealed that her ‘priceless pet’ had been named ‘Yangtze River Number Two’ and added: ‘Gold has a price, but this Tibetan mastiff doesn’t.’

Italian bedding manufacturer Magniflex will exhibit a Lamborghini bed at the
Las Vegas Furniture Market, being held Sept. 14 to 19.

The bed carries the logo and color scheme of Canino Lamborghini and it comes with a complementary mattress accentuated with the same theme.

The Lamborghini mattress in queen size is priced at $1,999.

Multimillion-Dollar Andy Warhol Collection Stolen

A multimillion-dollar collection of original work by Andy Warhol, featuring famous sports stars such as Muhammad Ali, Pele, OJ Simpson and Chris Evert has been stolen.

The works of art disappeared earlier this month from the Los Angeles home of Richard Weisman (who comes from the famous art-collecting Weisman family).

The pieces were taken from the walls of the house’s dining room, along with a Warhol portrait of Weisman (below).

The World Most Expensive Lamb

A sheep named Deveronvale Perfection, is believed to have become the world most expensive after selling for £231,000 ($392,000).

Deveronvale Perfection which is bred in Banffshire, Scotland, was bought by a fellow local sheep farmer at a sale in Lanark.

The high price has been put down to the lamb’s strong physical attributes.

Lamborghini Reventon Roadster

The Italian dream-carmaker, Lamborghini, will reveal at the Frankfurt Motor Show the long rumored Lamborghini Reventon Roadster.

As the coupe model the car redefines style and elegance with alcantara upholstery, carbon fiber trim and body panels and aggressive 18-inch wheels.

There’s nothing official, but the topless Reventon will probably be powered by a 6.5-liter V12 engine with 650 HP (478 kW) and 660 Nm (487 lb-ft) of torque.

A new club for the super-rich in India

Morgan Stanley is set to launch wealth management services for the super-rich in India, Reuters reports.

It’s going to be India’s most exclusive super-rich club, with membership restricted to those with a minimum investible surplus of $1 billion.

Why India? India is the world’s second fastest growing economy and according it has the second largest number of billionaires in Asia after China.

Bernie Madoff’s luxury life on auction

Three boats previously owned by jailed financier Bernard Madoff, that was sentenced in June to 150 years in prison, will be auctioned off in Fort Lauderdale on November 17.

Among the boats to be sold are a 55-foot, 1969 Rybovich luxury fishing boat called Bull that’s said to be worth about $2.2 million and Little Bull, a 24-foot center-console boat.

“We anticipate strong interest in the auction,” Matt Amata, vice president of National Liquidators, said in a statement Wednesday.

“Star of India” Rolls Royce Up for Auction

Last month we wrote about the famed “Star of India” 1934 Rolls-Royce Phantom II convertible custom made for an Indian Maharaja.

Now the incredible car has been listed for sale via online global luxury marketplace JamesList for £8 million, or about $13 million.

The 7.7-liter V8-engined car is currently owned by German collector Hans-Gunther Zach, and is part of a vast collection of Rolls’ and Bentleys.
