$100m yacht for German billionaire who cut employee wages

A German billionaire who has put his factory workers on short-time and cut their wages has bought himself a luxury megayacht according to DailyMail.

Screw manufacturer Reinhold Würth (#93 on the Forbes 2009 list) has ordered 1,250 of his 5,000 employees in Germany to reduce their working hours and cut their pay by 15 percent.

The rest of his workers are being forced to take a solidarity pay cut of five percent. At the same time, though, the convicted tax evader also celebrated the christening of his new super yacht, the Vibrant Curiosity.

Posing for her official White House portrait, Michelle Obama wears the Cartier Steel Tank Francaise that is tasteful and luxurious without being showy.

Lily wedding gown, priced at £4,530 ($9,875), for saying ‘I do’ wearing Vivienne Westwood Gold Label’s dress, is already sold out.

Famous thanks to Sex and the City Movie, where sex columnist Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) finally marries her Mr Big, it is a champagne silk satin bustier wedding gown with a built-in corset, and it has a full puff skirt with an asymmetric hem, a peaked sweetheart neckline, a zip fastening on the back.

The wedding scene was filmed at the St. Patrick’s Cathedral and Carrie walked down the aisle in this extravagant Vivienne Westwood strapless wedding gown. Her full-length veil was adorned with a giant turquoise feather.

Net-a-Porter refused to say exactly how many pieces were sold, but there is a piece of good news: they are planning to create more dresses for the fans who were unable to buy one of Carrie Bradshaw’s wedding dresses!

Woman trades rare coins for groceries

A Utah woman who tried paying for Walmart groceries with $20 Gold Double Eagles was apparently turned away, and then exchanged 14 of them at a nearby bank for face value.

The bank teller gave the woman $280 but the coins were worth far more. While the coins have not been appraised, at today’s gold prices, each would be worth at least $920.

Now the search is on for the woman because she could be getting a lot more money, not to mention that the numismatic value of Double Eagles exceeds their melt value.
